Services
Regular service can expand the life span of a vehicle and prevent unforeseen breakdown. A simple defect can be found before it becomes a catastrophe. It will also reduce your fuel consumption.
Cambelt:
In the event of a cambelt snap in 95% of cases it will result in engine damage which is very costly to repair. A cambelt needs to be replaced every 60k.
Brakes:
Over time brake fluids absorb humidity. This will lower the boiling point of the fluid and could result in brake failure and lead to an accident. Brake fluid needs to be replaced every 2 years.
Clutch:
Are you having difficulty obtaining gear or strong vibration while moving off? Or maybe the vehicle speed is lower than normal engine speed? If the answer is yes, you need to have your clutch checked.
Cooling System:
Overtime corrosion builds up in the cooling system. This might block the water passage and cause over heating resulting in head gasket damage, this is a costly repair. Cooling systems need to be flushed every two years.
